Richard Summerscales of Silsden yeoman 1727

Will dated 5th February 1727.  Left his old anshant farm (with the permission of the earl) to eldest son Richard and also Broth Close.

Gave his second son Henry a farm called Watkinson farm and Ings Close, plus the residue of the estate and he was sole executor

Gave his youngest son John £10 when he was 21 and £30 more

gave Benjamin £20 and Joseph £40 for his education at the university

and gave Elizabeth (his widow) £30 and William Shackleton's house if she renounced her share in Broth Close
